Net Zero Commitment Statement

South Lincolnshire Blind Society is committed to achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2050, in alignment with UK Government and NHS sustainability objectives.

This commitment is formally approved by our Board of Trustees and is publicly accessible. We recognise our responsibility to minimise environmental impact while delivering high-quality services to our community.

We are taking a structured approach to carbon reduction, including:

Measuring and monitoring our organisational carbon footprint
Improving energy efficiency across our premises
Reducing waste and increasing recycling
Embedding sustainability into procurement and supplier selection
Encouraging environmentally responsible behaviours across staff and volunteers

We will provide evidence of our emissions reduction activities and progress over time, including carbon footprint assessments and documented sustainability initiatives, in line with requirements.
