As an independent charity we do not receive any government funding and rely on the goodwill of those who have benefitted from our services and the local community in making donations and getting involved in organizing store collections, quiz nights and sponsored events. National Three Peaks 2019.
Ever dreamed about climbing a mountain? Well how about climbing three. Next year SLBS are running a national three peaks challenge. The challenge will see you climb three of the highest peaks in the UK in 24 hours. The peaks in question are Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England, and finally Snowdon in Wales. The total cost of the trip is £455, which includes a £75 deposit. We ask that those taking part attempt to reach a fundraising target of £400 and you will receive full support in achieving this. Start collecting your used stamps!
Support us by collecting your used stamps both old and new and send them into our Grantham Office, which we can then trade in for cash! Simply give us a call to request a pre- paid and addressed envelope and help us to raise some vital funds.
